Pete DuFour

Following a brief stint at Hill & Barlow from 2000 until it dissolved in 2003, I moved back to my home state of Maine to work for a regional accounting firm, in the tax practice. After working there for 12 years, I decided to set up my own tax boutique in downtown Portland. Four years later, we have seven full-time employees and continue to grow and expand our client base.

My wife, Kelly, and I have four kids, the oldest is in college and the younger three are in high school. Between sports and other extracurricular activities, they keep us on our toes.

When we are not working or spending time with the kids, Kelly and I have become CrossFit junkies (it is kind of a cult–but in a good way). We also enjoy stand-up paddle board adventures around Casco Bay and the local rivers with our dog, Rocky. And in summer and fall, we hike local trails and forage for wild mushrooms.

We love living in Portland and are fortunate to have an amazing array of restaurants and micro-breweries within walking distance of our home and our office.

Life is good. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our reunion.
